Along the castle there is a very nice walkway which during the winter it can create huge ice boulders, Something i have never seen before.

I need to visit Vilnius sometime again the future as when the day I went to the city it was their patron saint's day. The city was ridiculously busy. On a plus note there was plenty of stalls selling local goods. 

I think 2 days is enough to explore Kaunas and Vilnius however it they are both lovely cities off the usual busy cities.
